Party Happy

So, I'm relaxing & watching movies this weekend - NOT!!  I have been working in the stamp room - working on things I have planned for my Uncle Stu's 85th Birthday Party coming up on April 16th!!  I have finished 8 Centerpieces & 52 Favors along with a few other things!

So - lookie here....
Eight Galvinized Pails....attached to both sides are several layers of the Fun Flowers die - still available in the "Occasions Mini Catalog" & using assorted DSP & card stock, and then ribbons and lace attached to the handles.  So what do you think?

Next up - Basket & Cards
We asked those from out of town to send cards to my house - I have inserted them into this cracker basket that I wove as a gift & added some flower seeds & I will then shrink wrap & add some ribbons for a gift!

Next up - the Favors!

Here is one completed set...it's the Big Shot Pillow Box die - I layed out the photos & the words on My Digital Studio, so all I had to do was to print it onto Very Vanilla card stock & run it through the big shot. I then sponged all the edges with Early Espresso, filled them with M & M's, sealed the edges with clear circle mailing labels & tied them off with Early Espresso Bakers twine - this photo shows the front & back.

And last but not least....
Here is another 50 favors 1/2 of the way completed...I ran out of M&M's - I need to finish them all off with the baker's twine, but I think they look cool!

Well, now I have to finish making some soup, pay some bills & what-not, so hope you are having a fabulous weekend & hope you are keeping busy too!

Stay tuned for more information regarding our Mother's Day Class coming on Saturday, April 30th from 9 - 12 noon!!

My Stampin' Sisters meeting!!

Had a really great afternoon yesterday - I got together with my down line for a meeting & we had such a blast!!  I am so lucky that I learn so much from my girls & we are such a close-knit group.  We chatted a bunch, talked about all the current promotions & of course swapped cards & ideas - here are a few of the swaps....

Look at the beautiful card in crumb cake & baja breeze & the beautiful Bliss Set

This beauty is make with Ice Cream Parlor DSP & the stickers - what a cool flower fold!

I am so blessed to have such a caring down line and I am glad I could share some photos from our little group meeting!

This morning my side-line Gail came over & we planned out our classes for the balance of the year - I hope you will be excited as I am - More information will be coming, but our next class will be for Mother's Day & will be Saturday, April 30th - so stay tuned for more details & photos - May is National Scrap booking Month so wait till you see what we have planned for that!!  June will be a stamp-a-stack to help you replenish your all occasion card stock & you all know what happens in July.....our Annual Christmas in July Party!  I can't wait - you are going to LOVE the projects we have planned.

My next post will go back & show you the gorgeous projects we made at the Hartford Regional!  Hartford was so cool & I can't believe that 15 of my up-side-down line were there to share a glorious day!! Our dinner together was an opportunity for us to get together & share & we had a special swap for that.  I just loved the fridge magnet that Mabel made for all of us - I know that everyone worked hard on their swaps for the meeting, but that was my favorite!!  It was also great to see my friends from MA - next stop......convention - whoo hoo!!

Well I need to finish my chores - sure hope you have a fabulous Sunday ~

Lucky Me

Just a quick post to let you know I am still alive - ha ha.  Always more things to do than I have time for - isn't that always the case!  I spent all day Saturday with my Stampin' Sisters in Hartford, CT for a full day regional.  We had a wonderful day & it was great to get together with our Love at First Stamp group and some new levels to our group that recently joined.
Here we are in all our glory!!

The make and takes were over the top & hopefully I will be able to post again & show you some of the darling projects made with Nature Walk stamp set.

This weekend I will be doing a lot of basket making & a lot of stamping - I will have my second down-line meeting on Saturday afternoon & we are working on ideas for our next meeting already.  I am so lucky to have such a great group of girls to stamp with.

Well, I need to get back to the real world - WORK!!  Have a great week!
