Noodles Club Projects

     Well today I had my Noodles club.  Since it is the Holiday Season I just want to say that you guys are the best friends & great stamping companions.  Our get togethers are so much fun and I just want to say THANKS!!!!!

     We had a great club today and I am going to share our projects....

     First we made a stocking gift card holder using the stocking die & the Mocha Morning DSP.  This project was inspired by something I saw on a blog a while back & I don't remember to whom to give credit....so if the designer sees this, please let me know so I can give you credit -

     Our next project was inspired by Mary Brown & uses the Kraft boxes, Window Sheets, Holly Berry Bouquet DSP, Winter WishesStitched Felt & mini jingle bells and more.  And, Carol already put a treat in her box (she writes laughing hysterically).  Sorry, you had to be here!

     Last but not least, we made something for Home Decor....A Snow Block Buddy inspired by Robin Merriman & created by Wendy Knowls.  Thank you ladies...isn't he/she adorable??

     Well that does it for today - hope you all had a fabulous weekend....and to my Noodles - may all be Merry and Bright!!

Love At First Stamp Party

We had our group Christmas Party tonight & it was great to see everyone!!  Just wanted to share a few pictures...we took a group shot & will wait Kristen our lovely hostess to send us a copy.  In the meantime....
This is the gift that I made - a scarf crocheted with Beau Chateou fabric strips, Crumb Cake Seam Binding and pale pink yarn.  Susan D. won it & she seemed to like it - I hope so ~Thanks to Janet Wakeland for the idea!

This was how I packaged my gift....thanks to Robin Merriman for the inspiration!

This is the gift that I got from Buffy.  What a cute way to embellish an empty container.  All the punches, ribbon & glitter adorable.....BUT

I thought that was the gift, but this is what was inside.  Isn't this beautiful??  I just love it, especially done in the neutral collection because it goes with so many outfits.

Well, tomorrow I have Noodles club & I am still getting ready for that.  Tomorrow I will post the photo's of the projects that we made - don't want to spoil the surprise by posting them tonight!!

What did you all do for Halloween?  We had a party at my office & you know who was asked to make the favors - here's what I came up with....

This is the close-up

Here are all 42 in their glory!!

I used the kraft boxes from the Holiday mini, Wicked Cool & Spooky Bingo Bits Stamp Sets, Satin Ribbon and of course Rhinestones!!  My co-worker Marie baked 14 dozen cookies, which we slipped into cello sleeves from a major craft store.  Everyone went home with a cute Halloween Favor!

On another note.....I participated in my first organized swap - here are some of the amazing cards that I received....

This beauty came from Tricia Sherry - Love the color combo

This pretty & sparkly card came from Sharon Fritz - adorable!

This cutie is from Lisa Pressley - Love this snowman & love the bling!

Dasher here is from Kathy Howes - don't you just love the glimmer spray on this card?

This serene card came from Catherine Dawe - a very simple, but elegant card.

Stitched Stockings - Letterpress & bling is from Lynda Fraser - isn't this pretty?

Snow much fun meets Tangerine Tango.  This cute card comes from Trish Brunkhart

This Vintage stocking card is a real beauty - you just can't beat Cherry Cobbler & Always Artichoke for the Vingage Feeling - this card is from Jamie Hurley

Last but not least - this was my contribution to the swap!!  This card uses the Polar Party Set on Shimmery White.  I added some bling with Dazzling Details, Rhinestones & Pearls.

Thanks ladies - this was really a lot of fun & it has been fun getting Christmas Cards in the mail from all over the US & Canada - a much better reason to go to the mailbox instead of just bills!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Last but not least on a personal note, I went to Lancaster this weekend to take my neice who is turning 13 to get her ears pierced for her birthday. Isn't she adorable....
She was a real trooper!!   Happy Birthday Brenna!
Well I know this has been a long post, but this brings you up-to-date from my end.  Hope you have a fabulous week - Saturday, I am going to try to get to Buffy & Jen's World Card Making Day event before I go to a private basket class where we will be  making a hamper or as I like to think of it storage basket with a lid!!!!
September Stamp-A-Stack
Just a quick post to show you a few of the cards for the next SAS in the making.  Our next SAS will be Saturday, September 17 from 9a.m. - noon.    There will be a couple of subtle changes to the cards, but here you go:
First up, a simple card - very pleaseing to the eye card - Lovely As A Tree
Next - Baroque Motiff''s meets Delightful Dozen.  This is a very elegant card and perfect for those on your Chirstmas Card list:
The third selection has a Victorian feel....very vintage with the Skaters and crochet lace trim:
And the final choice - Stitched Stockings from the new Winter Mini.  We started with this sample, slightly changed the border trim & embossed the stocking in the new Cherry Cobbler Embossing Powder - there is a lot of bling on this card.
More information will be sent out to customers shortly including a sign up sheet.  If you are reading this post & would like more information, please feel free to contact me at sgpeters@ptd.net.
Downline Meeting
Yesterday was a busy day here.  The morning we were busy stamping at our 1st of 4 Holiday Stamp-A-Stacks.  Everyone seemed to LOVE the cards & it was a very successful morning.  Of course, we has a spread of new products from the upcoming mini & everyone is very excited for September 1st.
In the afternoon I had my downline meeting. We shared a ton of information & the girls basically told me I need to get an I-phone.  Oh boy!!  We had a bunch of laughs and our swap theme was something from the new Holiday Mini - here's what we came up with....
First up - Gail's card - which uses the new Spice Cake DSP and the Gently Falling Stamp Set.  This card is just beautiful & Gail shared the rock & roll technique with the group.  Thanks Gail!
Next up is Jen's tag.  Jen's swap was made using the Holly Berry Bouquet DSP, Pines & Poinsettias stamp set, Holly Berry Bouquet Buttons, & the Yummy new Cherry Cobbler Quilted Ribbon.  This is just so elegant in person!!  Thanks Jen!
Next up is Jamie's card - Jamie used the Stitched Stockings Stamp Set & the matching Stocking Builder Punch, along with some Silver Glimmer Paper for some BLING!  I LOVE the background for this card which was made using the sentiments from Four the Holiday's.  LOVE it!  Thanks Jamie!!
Last but not least, my swap - straight from convention!!  I used the Stitched Stockings Stamp Set, the Silver Glimmer Paper, Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine & a new Mini Jingle Bell.  Adorable!!
     I am the luckiest person in the world to have such a terrific downline - they have such great ideas & keep me so motivated.  We decided that for our meeting next month we will just have an open stamp session & our plan is to start the advent calendar with the 25 & counting set & try to come up with some multiple uses for the set, humm - now there's a challenge.
     Do you have any ideas for another use?  Would you like to join my team?  Let me know!!
     Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!  Stay tuned for samples for our 2nd of 4 Holiday SAS's - we're here to help you get your Holiday cards done early this year!  Hope you can join the fun!
