Love at First Stamp - Blog Hop

Welcome to the first ever "Love at First Stamp Blog Hop"!  I am so excited to be a part of this event - if you just happened to find my blog WELCOME & if you just hopped over from Jennifer Campbell's blog - a big welcome too!!  Weren't  her projects awesome??

Well my 'Spring Holiday" is Mother's Day & I hope you like the projects I came up with....

First up - my take on the Note-card  Portfolio as shown on page 147 of the Big Catalog & Idea Book.  Now who wouldn't like to receive this lovely gift for Mother's Day?

I had so much fun creating this portfolio and the English Ivy Note-cards #127538 are awesome!

Next I made a coordinating card  - this is using my spin on Jenn Campbell's beautiful sketch.  My photo reflects a copy of the sketch along with the card - please feel free to play along with this FUN sketch & put your spin on it!!

For this card instead of using the Fun Flowers die, I made my flower out of the paper doilies #129399 on page 5 of the Spring Catalog & spritzed with some Primrose Petals re-inker, the DSP is from the Print Poetry Paper Stack #129312 on page 16 & last but not least Basics Designer Buttons #129325 on page 20.   Hope you like the card & the sketch!!

Here is a photo of the portfolio & card together...

My last project for Mother's Day is a gift card holder.  The inside has an envelope cut in half which creates two pockets - one for a note & one for a gift card....or two gift cards....or a gift card & a piece of square chocolate...use your imagination~~

This again uses products from the Spring Catalog...Tea for Two DSP #129311 on page 3, and Oh Hello Stamp Set #130730W or #130733C on page 4, add a little dazzling diamonds for some bling & there you go.

Well, I hope you enjoyed my projects and continue on this wonderful spring holiday blog hop & hop on over to Jennifer Gregorsky to find some great Memorial Day projects..
